You may borrow up to 6 books and 3 audiovisual materials at a time.

Most materials are loaned for 2 weeks.

Materials can be renewed once except for items on the hold list.

Materials may be returned to any Nagoya City Public Library.

When the library is closed, please return items to the outside book drop.

Anyone who lives, works, or attends school within Aichi prefecture qualifies for a free library card.

You can use your library card at any branch of Nagoya City Public Libraries.

Please feel free to read any materials on the shelves.

If you want to read special materials stored in the stacks, please fill out a form and take it to the circulation desk on the second floor.

If an item is not on the shelf, you may request it by filling out a form. You will be notified when it is available.

If you would like to make copies of library materials, you can use the photocopier on the second floor after filling out a form. Copying is on a self-service basis for 10yen per page (size A3, A4, B4, B5.)
