Books on Japan
To better serve the needs of foreigners living in and around Nagoya, The Nagoya City Tsuruma Central Library has accumulated a collection of books about Japan.
The library started its "Books on Japan" collection in 1986 and now has approximately 1,600 books on hand written in different foreign languages.
The books introduce Japanese culture, contemporary Japan, and Japanese literature.
Please visit our "Books on Japan" collection and learn something new about Japan.
Patrons may borrow up to six books at a time for two weeks.
名古屋市鶴舞中央図書館では、名古屋及びその周辺に住む外国人の皆様のご要望にお応えするため、日本について書かれた本を集めています。
1986年に「ブックス・オン・ジャパン」コーナーを設置して以来、現在、外国語図書を約1600冊所蔵しています。
このように日本の文化を紹介する本、現代日本を紹介する本、日本文学などの本が、皆様との出会いを待っています。貸出しはお一人6冊2週間です。
金陵図書館（南京市）
名古屋市鶴舞中央図書館にある中国語の図書は、南京市の金陵図書館から送られたものです。南京市は名古屋市の友好都市であり、金陵図書館と鶴舞中央図書館は平成元年から図書の交換を続けています。平成21年3月までに、金陵図書館から2,854冊が贈られ、鶴舞中央図書館からは2,569冊を贈りました。
金陵図書館は南京市の中央部にあり、建築面積6,700m2、蔵書数105万冊の公共図書館です。業務はコンピュータ化され、インターネットやCD-ROMを利用できる電子閲覧室や、パソコン操作を学ぶ研修センターもあります。
